St. Gianna suffered through many trials in her life, including the death of multiple young siblings and a fibroma being found on her uterus while 2 months pregnant with her 6th child (2 of which she had previously miscarried.) Although encouraged to abort, St. Gianna continued her pregnancy until she was full term and died 7 days after giving birth.
